Datasets and trackers KPSGILL builds rather than reports. Each is generated from a registry, carries its own methodology, and states what it does not establish. The second half of this page is the more useful half: the products deliberately not published, and why.
The research program
What this institute intends to investigate next, and why it is moving from explaining the machinery to measuring what the machinery produces. One hundred and thirty questions in twelve clusters, each stated as a question a public record can answer, each carrying a PROPOSED state until its record set can carry an answer.

California Medical Board DUI Discipline Registry, 2011–2026
A matter-level historical reconstruction linking the Board’s published dispositions to accusations, action alerts and underlying disciplinary documents. Historical completeness is measured period by period rather than assumed from the current online search interface.
Why can an apparently similar off-duty alcohol-related event result in a public reprimand for one California physician and years of monitored probation for another?
Not an accusation of arbitrariness — a question the published record can be made to answer, by coding charge selection, findings, representation, procedural route, the evidence that actually reached the decision-maker, and the reasoning given for any departure from the published range.

KPSGILL Physician Autonomy Index
Scores every state on corporate-practice protection, noncompete enforceability, independent-judgement protection, peer-review due process, PHP safeguards, NPDB consequences, scope environment and payer interference.
Why it is held: Methodology drafted. NO SCORES PUBLISHED. Publishing a number for fifty states requires the fifty-state statutory research to exist first, and it does not. A composite score built on partial research would be the most citable and least defensible thing on this site.
KPSGILL Healthcare Administrative Burden Index
Measures prior authorisation, credentialing, documentation, quality reporting, payer enrolment, licensing and certification load by state, payer and system.
Why it is held: Methodology drafted. NO SCORES PUBLISHED. The binding gap is measurement: this site has no primary data on credentialing delay or documentation time, and an index without measured inputs is an opinion with decimal places.
KPSGILL Medical Regulatory Due Process Index
Compares medical boards on notice, investigation authority, expert review, access to evidence, discovery, hearing procedure, evidentiary burden, interim action, publication, appeal and PHP relationship.
Why it is held: Methodology drafted, and the California dimension is substantially researched in the due-process proposal. NO SCORES PUBLISHED — a comparative index needs the other 49 boards read to the same standard.
KPSGILL Corporate Medicine Map
Hospital-system footprints, private-equity-backed physician organisations, MSOs, insurers, PBMs, staffing companies and nursing-home ownership, with followable ownership chains.
Why it is held: NOT BUILT. Depends on the ownership database, which requires corporate, SEC, regulatory and transaction sourcing per entity. A speculative ownership chain is worse than no map.
