CFMG–Wellpath Claims & Accountability Roadmaps

Investigation and roadmaps

The documentary investigation sets out what the public record shows about the companies and public bodies involved in correctional healthcare in California. These roadmaps explain how readers can organise, research and evaluate potential legal pathways using the applicable law and that kind of evidence. The investigation is the record; the roadmaps are the method.

Neither one decides whether any person has a claim. Only a licensed California lawyer who has reviewed the facts can do that.

How the series is published

Roadmaps are published in stages, after review. A roadmap serial number that appears on a published page without a link refers to a page that has not yet been published.

About these roadmaps

Each roadmap states who it is for, what question it answers and what it does not establish. Factual statements are tied to public records, and legal statements to the cases and statutes cited on each page. The author's interest in the subject is described in the statement of interest, and substantive corrections are recorded in the corrections log.
